In my book, joy comes in many forms. Joy means living the life you desire. Joy means laughter, kindness, appreciation, and igniting your inner fire. Joy means loving your life so much that you can’t get enough of it.
Once you get there, you will notice that you’ve stopped wondering about the future and have started to appreciate your ‘here and now’.
Now, this doesn’t mean that you need to do a total 180 in life and leave everything behind (although I did that, and I can teach you if you’d like ;)). But what appreciating your here and now means, is…
to wake up feeling excited every single day
That’s what I do, and what you could be experiencing, too. I believe that we are always able to guide ourselves to the lives that are meant for us if only we have the stillness to listen and the courage to follow through. And this is how…
DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE
Reflecting on the last few months, ask yourself…
How often have you intended to enjoy more of your day only to get caught up by that stressy deadline?
How many times have you worried about other people’s problems but forgotten to care for yourself?
How often have you released your inner child and acted on spontaneity?
Joy can be as simple as letting go of worries, fears, and expectations, and doing more of what makes you smile.
joy is all of the below
Joy means allowing yourself to have a wish list, to keep track of new experiences you want to undertake.
Joy means having a toolkit with rituals that spark your laughter on any given day.
Joy means letting go of what holds you back, so that you move into a more positive headspace.
Joy means being unapologetic about your dreams and wishes, so that you will feel courageous and confident about pursuing them, without shame, and no matter what it takes.
In case you wonder…
Am I teaching yoga or am I teaching joy? The honest answer is, I teach both 😉
Yoga works on all three levels of joy – your body, mind, and soul. To flow with joy means eliminating bodily tension, letting go of worry and stress, and continuing to explore what you love to do, so that you gain freedom, and need less.
Learn to flow with joy to unlock your bodily and mental knots and move easily through life. Connect to yourself, feel confident, eliminate external pressure and inner stress.
