Before embarking on my journey toward self-acceptance, I experienced a lot of agonies. Trying to live up to my own unrealistic expectations, I accumulated so much bodily and mental tension that I was chronically stressed (out).
Now, simultaneously trying to discover your true self ánd fit in in society isn’t that easy – I know that from experience. Even so, I quit my CEO job to follow my heart.
Admittedly, even now, as a mindful writer and registered yoga teacher, sometimes I still battle with a restless mind. But, for the most part, life definitely became more of a joy.
I learned to live with less and moved closer to the equator (hello sunshine!). These days, I maintain a mindset where fun comes first, the rest second. I am grateful for continually having the confidence to choose my own path.
